problem #2

WRX Limited

  • Manual transmission
  • 35,000 miles

I have had the dealership try to fix this issue for the last 2 years. My touch screen stops working, it randomly calls people over and over. Last week it called my husband 30 times back-to-back. I had to pull over and turn my car off to get it to stop. It changes radio stations all on its own. All the dealership does is charge me for an update. I had to pay for an update last week and then drove the car 2 days later and it is still doing it. I am having little trust in this company when they know there is a problem.

WRX STI 2.5L

  • Manual transmission
  • 12,000 miles

The first time it happened, I tried to turn the car off for a bit and restart it but the screen was still frozen. There's nothing that really helps. The volume had a mind of its own and decides to just blare sometimes. Or sometimes my car feels like its just not going to let me listen to anything all day. Thats really annoying.

I've experienced the screen going black a couple of times. Usually it just freezes. I am reporting this because I saw the class action lawsuit and wanted to let people know that I have the 2019 model and it does the same b.s. so if you're looking to buy a Subaru... think twice. I am regretting not buying that range rover I wanted. I shouldn't have to live with a faulty car and eventually I will trade but until then. I hope this reaches someone.
