Sorry about some typos, this website is a little wobbly on a kindle. First subaru XT complaint! This one is not a big deal, but the solution and the true source of the problem elude me. The car has a removable roof panel( instead of a glass sunroof) that I sealed because the water drain holes were clogged and water would drip into the cabin. So a few months later, there is a puddle of water in the trunk around a the spot where a small hose exits the car and is open beneath the trunk-presumably the drain hfor the sunroof. The hose isn't cracked and the grommet around the hole where it exits the car is ok, and there are no other water drain lines near it. Maybe the hose broke farther up where I can't see it and itis leaking water from above, but its not like it would have a reason to break because it ian't near anything hot or any moving parts.
