XV Crosstrek

  • Automatic transmission
  • 1,500 miles

Horrible steering issues on rain, snow & Ice. Feeling like it will fishtail unless speed slowed WAY down to 35-40 while other cars are passing at 60+. Has an odd drifty/floatly feeling. Was told It needed weight and realigned but that is stupid to have to fill the small back with sand, then I have no room. I realigned it... Burns tread unevenly, On my 3rd set of tires at 72, 000 miles because the only thing that helps is brand new tires. The car is horrible and super scary to drive on the snow. I've taken to have friends drive instead of chancing it if we have to travel. I am getting rid of this POS as soon as possible because it has NO power to pass & now it is burning thru oil like crazy at only 1,500 miles after oil change. 2013 XV CROSSTREK is a solid LEMON.

I THOUGHT IT WAS THE CAMBER OF THE ROAD, IT'S NOT, AS I HAVE HAD IT ON SOME NEW FLAT HIGHWAYS AND IT STILLS DOES IT. I AM THE SECOND OWNER AND IT IS OUT OF WARRANTY. I ASSUME THAT IS THAT AND I AM STUCK WITH THE PROBLEM.
