Right in the dead of winter, about 10 F, you know - really cold, the fan wouldn't come on. I had to drive to work with no heat - about 15 miles (25 minutes). I had to do this for a couple of days before the service appt at the Suzuki dealer. However, sometimes it would come on with no prompting. Dealer told me that the blower had a little short in it so it required replacement. That only cost me $348, and they told me that they weren't charging me for diagnosing the problem, just for the part and the R&R. Up until then, the fan worked perfectly and quietly as usual, no warning, no weird sounds, nothing was noted as any indication that it might fail. Other than that, its been a great car.
