I have a 2007 Suzuki Forenza and the check engine light just came on. I took it to auto zone and they put it on the tester and it came up with a trans range sensor.this is a dealer part and the car only has about 75,000 miles on it. From what I can see online is that alot of people have had this issue. I have replaced 3 of the 4 door handles as well.

I just had the driver's interior door handle break at the base. I have already had the passenger front replaced under warranty, passenger rear replace at my cost and now this!

The contact owns a 2007 Suzuki Forenza. When the ignition was turned on, the air bag warning indicator would illuminate on the instrument panel. The warning indicator remained lit until the engine was turned off. The front and driver side interior door handles failed without warning. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer for diagnostic testing, but they could not determine the cause of the failures. The driver and passenger side air bag harness and door handles were replaced under the service warranty. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer on a separate occasion for identical failures. In addition, the bolts from the radiator fan were loose and some were missing. Currently, the parts for the repair are unavailable and have been ordered. The failure mileage was 12,000 and current mileage was 17,000. Updated 3/25/09 updated 03/25/09.
