I had defective plastic door knobs that broke and replaced with the same type door knob by the dealer and charged me labor. Replaced strut mounts within the last 9 months I have replaced: Transmission, water pump, the valve cover gasket 4 times, the valve cover, the radiator, the timing belt, the ac compressor, front axles, wheel bearings, lower intake manifold hose, and it is still leaking antifreeze. The car seem to be very hot and the key is very very hot in the ignition. I also need to replace the fuel assembly........ I definitely would like to be included in a class action lawsuit or I will do my own. This is not fair to the consumer to pay all this money into keeping this car repaired. I've invested more into this car than what it is worth. Please advise.

We just bought this car in August 2012. Since then my seat belt button turned on and took it to the Suzuki dealer and they fixed it. Also the passenger air bag also and they fixed it. Then took it to the dealer to get the oil changed and they said I had a radiator leak ( I wonder how true was that sometimes) repaired it and it cost $400.... now when I was driving the car check engine light turned on and now it was the gas cap that needed to be replaced!!! wth so we replaced that part. Now after we fix that, guess what also starts happening the car just starts to slow down and again check engine light turns on!!! we take it to get a diagnosis and it gives us P0705 P0700 and that now is the transmission range sensor!!! this is crazy!! hopefully nothing else will go wrong..... I feel that Suzuki should have a recall on this transmission range sensor especially.. as I see...many people are going through this and people should be compensated for the money that we all have wasted and frustration we are all going through.... Suzuki needs to fix this problem...

While driving I heard a loud "thunk" sound and then my car went basically into neutral. Had a car been right behind me I would have been rear ended. The check engine light went on and the transmission range sensor has to be replaced. The same exact thing happened in September of 2012 and I had it replaced then, only 9 short months ago. When speaking with the parts and service folks at david norman Suzuki I was informed that this is a very common problem with this vehicle. Had I been on the highway I could have been killed. Definitely a safety problem that warrants a recall.

I brought a brand new 2007 Suzuki Forenza in 2007 and since then have had problems ever since. In the first week I brought it the timing belt had broke. Soon after the transmission messed up and was told the engine needed to be rebuilt. Thanks to my extended vehicle warranty (not by Suzuki) I was able to get this fixed without paying out of pocket. Now not even two years later I am being told that the front strut mount and struts are going bad and need to be replaced (estimated at $687). In addition to that all four of my door handles are broken and have been for some time after breaking off with a simple touch. With the paint chipping off on the outside door handles as well. I have no money to pay for all the repairs on this vehicle as I have been paying it on for the last five years and it is almost paid for but I cannot continue to endure countless repairs I am having to go through while driving this car. I do not go anyway except from work to home in my car and I do not understand why I am having all of these problems when the car was suppose to be brand new when I bought it. I am afraid to drive this car even as simple as going to the store because I do not know what will happen. I will never buy another Suzuki again.

When turning my car on and putting it into reverse, the check engine light came on and my car jerked into gear and where the R should appear for reverse on the dash, all the letters were scrambled together. The car drove in reverse and then when I put it into drive, it jerked again and then would hardly accelerate. After driving the car for a couple minutes, turning it off, and turning it back on, it would finally accelerate but the check engine light would still be on and the gears would still jerk. The check engine light would go off after a couple days and everything would be fine and then it would all start again. Then my car is starting to switch over into neutral when driving 60mph+ and now it will do this multiple times when driving at any speed. When it switches over to neutral like this while I'm driving, the D for drive on the dash will become scrambled like it does when it jerks into reverse. The problem is getting worse.

I have had numerous issues with the range switch in my 2007 Suzuki Forenza. The first time at approximately 38K miles, and now again at approximately 70K miles. Each time I've had this fixed, it has cost me over $200. Suzuki customer service refuses to acknowledge this as a defect, and continues to take money from their clients who purchased faulty vehicles.

I purchased a 2007 Suzuki Forenza in Dec 2006 and my transmission range sensor went bad in August of 2007, it went bad again less than a year later in June 2008, again in 2010 and now as of today November 22,2011 I have to put it back in the shop for the transmission range sensor. I really do feel like this should had been a recall considering I am not the only Suzuki Forenza owner that has had the ongoing issues. I have came out of pocket over $600 so far on getting this problem fix because it was not cover under warranty.

The contact owns a 2007 Suzuki Forenza. While driving approximately 65 mph when she heard a dripping noise coming from the engine and the air bag light was constantly on. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer who was unable to locate a failure. The failure continued to occur. She also stated that the passenger front door handle came off. The vehicle was purchased in April 2007 by June 2007 and all four door handles came off of the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the dealer three times for the failure. She contacted GMC who referred her to another dealer who replaced the bottom portion of the engine. The contact stated that there was also a problem with the transmission and the vehicle slipped out of gear. She stated that the dealer performed a diagnostic test and no codes indicated that there was a failure. She stated that the engine light was on. The manufacturer suggested that she take the vehicle back to an authorized dealer to have the vehicle repaired. The vehicle was not repaired for any other the failures. The failure mileage was 200 and the current mileage was 73,507.

The problem started on 7/12/09. I had just gotten an oil change at wal-mart in jacksonville, ar, and as soon as I turned on the car the check engine light was on. Wal-mart of course denied any damages, but stated if something was done on their part they would reimburse me for the damages. From there I went to auto zone and was told that the codes were 700 and 705, which referred to the transmission sensor. The very next day the check engine light went off. Long story short, since that time the light has come on several times. Prior to the light coming on, my car would be in drive but would hesitate and feel as if it is in neutral. Also, a line would go across the D (drive) on my dashboard, and all of the other gears would appear to be something different on the dashboard (I.e. P (park) on the gear shift would read R (reverse) on the dashboard. I feel that this should not be happening on a 2007 model car. There are 62, 000 miles on this car, which are mostly highway miles. This is very frustrating and from what I have read on the web, this is a very common problem.

The contact owns a 2007 Suzuki Forenza. When the ignition was turned on, the air bag warning indicator would illuminate on the instrument panel. The warning indicator remained lit until the engine was turned off. The front and driver side interior door handles failed without warning. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer for diagnostic testing, but they could not determine the cause of the failures. The driver and passenger side air bag harness and door handles were replaced under the service warranty. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer on a separate occasion for identical failures. In addition, the bolts from the radiator fan were loose and some were missing. Currently, the parts for the repair are unavailable and have been ordered. The failure mileage was 12,000 and current mileage was 17,000. Updated 3/25/09 updated 03/25/09.

The contact owns a 2007 Suzuki Forenza. While driving approximately 65 mph, the contact heard a dripping sound underneath the vehicle. The vehicle was returned to its place of purchase and the dealer also stated that there was an issue with the passenger side air bag. The contact was informed that the sensor was working properly and the dripping sound was caused by the condensation from the air conditioner. A few months later, the motor began making a knocking sound. She took the vehicle to a repair shop and they stated that the sound was coming from the top part of her motor. She took the vehicle to the dealer and they kept it for over a month; however, the knocking sound remained. Three weeks later, a Suzuki specialist replaced the motor. Even after the motor was replaced, the knocking sound persisted. The contact was informed that the vehicle was working in the manner it was designed. Weeks after the contact retrieved the vehicle, the noise grew louder. The vehicle was returned to the dealer and they stated that they only replaced the top part of the motor. They kept the vehicle and checked the oil level. Days after retrieving the vehicle, while traveling and coming to a stop sign, it suddenly stalled and lost all power. The vehicle was taken to her residence and she believes that the vehicle is a lemon and full of manufacturer defects. She cannot afford any more repairs or towing. The failure mileage was 11 and current mileage was 40,000.

The contact owns a 2007 Suzuki Forenza wagon. The contact stated that the vehicle has a serious hesitation issue. While driving between 30-50 mph, the vehicle hesitates and decelerates. It does not lose complete power and the service engine light remains illuminated. The contact has taken the vehicle to the dealer five times and they replaced the wiring harness, accelerator, a few sensors, and reprogrammed the computer in the vehicle. The repairs only temporarily correct the issue for a few weeks, but then the failure recurs a month later. The contact is also experiencing failure with the passenger side air bag. The air bag remains off whenever an occupant is seated in the passenger seat. The dealer stated that it was supposed to remain off for a child's safety, but the owner claims that the failure occurs when adults are seated in the passenger seat as well. The dealer has not attempted to repair the air bag defect because they clam it is working as it was designed. The air bag defect has been occurring since the vehicle was purchased with approximately 30 miles. The failure mileage for the hesitation issue was 3,000 and current mileage was 12,000.
