Air Bag light came on in the Dash, also passenger seat belt not on light came on in the clock. I took the car to Planet Automotive Group here in Charlotte, they ran a Diagnostic on the vehicle and found a b1448 code for passenger seat mat defect. I called the manufacture at [XXX] talked to a person named [XXX], I was told this is no longer under warranty and they could not help. I disagreed with her, told her this was a very serious safety issue and they should help with the cost of replaced/repair. Was told sorry. Need you help am 85 year old and don't have funds for new seat which cost $3750 INFORMATION Redacted PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6).

Passenger airbag off light is on even with passenger in seat. I am surprise there is not a recall for this problem which can lead to serious injury and even fatalities. Suzuki issued a recall for the grand vitaras. This is down right pathetic and is a slap in the face to their customers. I will definitely be filing a lawsuit about this matter if nothing done about this matter.

I bought 2007 Suzuki Forenza with only 50 miles on it. I have had nothing but problems with it and now it poses a safety risk since the dealership can't find anything about it. It suddenly stops while I am driving. I lose control and need to move it all the way across the highway. I have come several times close to being hit. All lights on the dashboard are showing even though it might not be the problem.

The passenger seat air bag cushion is activated by weight, going down the road the caution dash panel lights came on, indicating that my wife was under I think 40 lbs. Which is not no where near correct. Since this incident the lights indicating the air bags are not activated, remain on continually when the wagon is running. I believe this could be a safety hazard if an accident were to occur. Please respond!! thanks

Passenger air bag light on dashboard is continually on. The dealer says that the fault lies in the bottom seat cushion and sensing apparatus. A replacement costs over $900. The dealer said that if the warning light is on the air bag may not function in the event of a crash. The dealer also said that this has been an issue on Forenza's.

Was hit by a Pontiac on the passenger side of the vehicle and the air bags did not go off. The manual states that I have air bags that are in the passenger and driver seats that are supposed to go off if an accident occurs. Due to this, my passenger and I suffered injuries that could have been fatal, if I had not tried to avoid the accident. Also, the center console broke during the accident, causing the gear shift to stick, and when you turn the engine off, it won't go all the way off until you jerk the gear shift toward the driver seat.

We just bought this car in August 2012. Since then my seat belt button turned on and took it to the Suzuki dealer and they fixed it. Also the passenger air bag also and they fixed it. Then took it to the dealer to get the oil changed and they said I had a radiator leak ( I wonder how true was that sometimes) repaired it and it cost $400.... now when I was driving the car check engine light turned on and now it was the gas cap that needed to be replaced!!! wth so we replaced that part. Now after we fix that, guess what also starts happening the car just starts to slow down and again check engine light turns on!!! we take it to get a diagnosis and it gives us P0705 P0700 and that now is the transmission range sensor!!! this is crazy!! hopefully nothing else will go wrong..... I feel that Suzuki should have a recall on this transmission range sensor especially.. as I see...many people are going through this and people should be compensated for the money that we all have wasted and frustration we are all going through.... Suzuki needs to fix this problem...

The contact owns a 2007 Suzuki Forenza. While driving approximately 65 mph when she heard a dripping noise coming from the engine and the air bag light was constantly on. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer who was unable to locate a failure. The failure continued to occur. She also stated that the passenger front door handle came off. The vehicle was purchased in April 2007 by June 2007 and all four door handles came off of the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the dealer three times for the failure. She contacted GMC who referred her to another dealer who replaced the bottom portion of the engine. The contact stated that there was also a problem with the transmission and the vehicle slipped out of gear. She stated that the dealer performed a diagnostic test and no codes indicated that there was a failure. She stated that the engine light was on. The manufacturer suggested that she take the vehicle back to an authorized dealer to have the vehicle repaired. The vehicle was not repaired for any other the failures. The failure mileage was 200 and the current mileage was 73,507.
