I have had a Suzuki Forenza, unfortunately, for the past 5 years. After only 6 months of driving it, problems started and they haven't stopped. Ignition switch replaced, recalled due to head light needing to be replaced but the "closest" shop was an hour away and when I asked then if they'd provide a rental car... they laughed and told me the recall "wasn't that big of a deal". I read the report, it can cause a fire to start.... I consider FIRE a pretty big deal. Now I've had to replace the upper radiator hose, was told the air cleaner inlet hose needs to be replaced AND the air compressor needs to be replaced! This is the WORST car I've ever driven. And as a single mother who works two jobs just to be able to live paycheck to paycheck, I can't just run out and purchase a new car. But please believe that I am letting EVERYONE I know to never trust ANY Suzuki car and when I am able to get a used, new to me, vehicle it WILL NOT BE another POS Suzuki!!!!!

I bought this 2007 brand new, The first thing that started breaking was the inside door handles all four. Then in 2010 my air went out. Now I need a compressor. 379.00 plus labor. I haven't had money to fix that so in the summer I sweat my butt off. The paint around my door handles are chipped off and looks like crap. NOW my transmission is slipping and down shifting and not moving when you put it in drive. If I had known this car had a sealed transmission where I couldn't check my own fluid levels I would have never bought this car. I'm a single women trying to make a living paying my bills and this is my first new car ever. And it's a piece of crap. I have read so many complaints about the transmission in this car it just makes me sick. I only have 58,000 miles on it. Really Suzuki? It's really sad when we have to work so hard for our money and these car makers make these cars to break down so they can make more money. Well look assholes ( Suzuki automakers ) I paid 15,000 for this car and it's only right that you fix my air & transmission. This makes me so upset I have no other way to work and it really makes me mad. From Denise Call me Suzuki I have more words for you.

I own a 2007 Suzuki Forenza. I was at a stop sign making a right turn. Once I started accelerating after the turn the car felt like it was in neutral. I pulled over and placed the car in park. The gears made a grinding sound. I turned off the engine to stop the sound. Once I started the car back up (gears not making any sound) I place the car in drive and the vehicle would not move. I then placed in reverse and the car still would not move. I then proceed to place the car in park and the gears grinded and would not stop. What is wrong with my car? I had zero signs of any type of problem.
