In cold, damp weather the seat belts lights and air bag lights (both sides take turns) flash on and off until the car gets warmed up. I took it to the dealer who decided I need to replace the driver seat belt at a total cost of $659.93. I don't see how fixing the driver side seat belt - that works just fine - will stop the flashing lights about the seat belt and air bag on the passenger side of the car. This does not happen when the weather is warm. I have had the passenger front seat replaced under warranty two times. The first time the light flashed on and off and the bell went on and off. The second time there were no symptoms but Suzuki insisted on replacing the seat again.

AND this car eats head light bulbs. They only last about a year. This has been going on ever since I bought it in April 2007. Other than routine maintenance and tires, I have only had to replace the muffler in Oct. 2018. I love this vehicle and want the flashing lights to stop. This is a great car and I don't understand why Suzuki quit selling in the U.S. I most definitely would consider a newer model in the future. For now, I will fix my two minor rust spots and ignore the flashing lights. They don't call them idiot lights for nothing. I feel that all of these problems are interrelated because they are all electrical.
