The company refinished the rims, through a subcontractor. I dropped the car off, Monday morning at 11 am.
The rims were done by Tuesday, 10 am. I checked the paint job and it looked like an orange peel. I was told that Suzuki did it as a courtesy.....that it was my fault and the products I used on the rims. I use Dawn, a product used on animals covered with oil during oil spills.
They are refusing to replace or finish them in a better shop. I will be contacting customer service tomorrow. This is my eighth Suzuki and I have always loved the car and the service, not after today. I know they filed for bankruptcy, however, I bought a product I believed in since 2003......this is how loyalty is paid........it's my fault, I caused this to happen. My car is barely a year old.
