I've had this car for close to two years. It has always shuddered when at highway speeds, which worsens as speed increases. I solved this by going 65-70 mph or slower. The entire car shakes and the steering wheel shakes your whole arm. Over this past weekend the shuddering started occurring at lower speeds and a continuous knocking noise developed. At lower speeds it sounded like a light knocking coming from the front end that got extremely loud at 40mph and above. I had planned on getting it fixed once Monday rolled around but apparently I shouldn't have been driving it at all. Going 55mph the front passenger side tire completely flew off into the woods. All of the lug nuts had blown off and I rode the metal for a few hundred feet. I'm lucky my vehicle didn't flip, but there is extensive damage to the fender along with who knows what else. It's sitting at a mechanic waiting to be checked out Monday.
