I have a 2004 Suzuki Verona LX that from the day I bought it the cruise control wanders or surges. It is getting worse with age. It will very as much as 10 mph back and forth, back and forth until you turn it off. I have had several close calls at being rear ended when it slows down suddenly. I have had it to 4 different dealers and they all tell me the same thing. This is the way it is supposed to work. They tell me it was fixed in the 2005 & 2006 models. Then why can't they retrofit the 2004's. this is a terrible safety hazard that is getting worse as the vehicle gets older. It has 20000 miles on it now, what will happen when it has 50000? quit running totally!!!

Electronic control module was replaced because the car jerked. Cruise control came on by itself. Vehicle would loose speed, and electronic control module was replaced. Vehicle continued to have problems. Consumer received a recall for the control module, and was informed that the first replacement module was defective. Vehicle still jerked out of control.
