Before buy this tesla model 3 2023 the issue of bouncy ride was noticed in the same model but a rental one from hertz, I thought maybe the one from hertz was a fluke. To find out when buying this car back in feb 14 2024 that this issue is common. The car has sport suspension which is stiffer than alfa romeo guila ti 2021. Although it is stiff in bumpy roads it causes a bouncy ride making the back of your head repeatedly bouncing against the head restraint and some times it bangs hard.
Within a month of driving this car I developed lower backpain associated with sciatic nerve that move from right side to left side. I took the car to Tesla and the technician who rode the car with me noticed the issue and he said it can't be struts and he said he will get master tech to look at it. Next thing tesla service center tells me that they tried another model 3 2023 and it is doing the same thing and so they came in to conclusion that it is normal. When I told the service advisor that this issue does not exist in the model 3 2024 demo car that I tried they said it is totally redesigned model 3 and that's why it does not have the same issue. If it was only a stiff ride I would agree but the bouncy ride and causing head banging is a serious issue. I have. Tesla needs to address this issue. I did see one person owned 2022 model y that had the same issue and he said that service center replaced swaybar and the ride improved greatly and I did mention this to service center in Indianapolis but they did nothing.
