The brakes were spongy when I bought the truck, I thought no problem I'll just bleed the brakes. Bled the brakes, and then replaced all the brake pads and shoes, along with all the wheel bearings and tie rod ends and ball joints etc. Brakes are still spongy. The pedal goes pretty near to the floor before it starts to grab. I don't know if there is a fix for it short of replacing the master cylinder which is too expensive to be cost effective on this old beater. What a pile.
