The 4Runner 2018 limited is not a cheap car, it should comes with hands free calls as an option, but other than that it’s CRAP. I'm unable to make phone calls at all, the device muffled buzzing and the person on the other side tells me to switch to the hands on.
We took it to the dealer, and they said the only thing to fix it is to replace it with the new models that have Apple car play and it costs a lot. I’m not looking to spend a couple thousand to fix something that we already paid for and Toyota has already profited out of my pockets.

The Bluetooth cracks and echos while using hands free calling. Took it to a Toyota dealer. Had a radio update to fix the problem to no avail. Toyota stated the only way to fix the issue is get a new radio for $1500.00. I only have 32,000 miles on the vehicle and use it as a second vehicle. Cannot believe that Toyota will not say there is not a problem!! Meanwhile I see on this site there are class action suits on this issue!! Come on Toyota… own up to this issue and fix our problem!!
