Plugged block heater in, window was fine. Remote started vehicle about an hour later. Got in and restarted it, heard some soft clicking, thought it was the HVAC adjusting after start up. Heard some more mild clicking a couple seconds later and looked right and saw the passenger window completely shattered and small pieces and slowly falling onto the passenger seat. Not a very convenient time for this to happen as it is -26 Celsius and the vehicle was due for the 1st service (@8000kms)tomorrow... Over 100kms away. I've heard of this happening due to extreme temperature changes but it's never happened to me before. We are the first owners and this glass has never been replaced prior, there were no scratches or damage that would have caused this. I firmly believe that it was OE manufacturing/installation defect.
