Avalon XLS 3.5L V6

The car would not shift at the right times. Often left me sitting in intersections when trying to acccelerate. The dealer denied there was a problem for two years until upon mentioning it at 40,000 mile check the dealer simply reprogrammed teh computer and the problem disappeared
