The contact owns a 2006 Toyota Avalon. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic for an unrelated repair when they noticed that the front driver's side lug nuts expanded their normal size due to water consumption within the wheel hub covering. The approximate failure mileage was 115,200. Updated 10/11/12 the consumer replaced the lug nuts at his expense. Updated 10/17/12
