The cruise control has a sensor that will slow the car down when another auto pulls in front at a slower speed. The problem occures when the auto in front leaves the lane. The cruise that was set at 70mph and was slowed to 50mph by sensor will re-accelerate like a Nascar leaving a pit stop. It is scary and dangerous when the car drop into a passing gear determine to get back to 70mph in 5 seconds. I have spoke to dealership technicians about the problem. I get the same answer, that it is normal. Sorry to say that answer is BS!!! Thanks,SCARE TO USE THE CRUISE (:-(
