Avalon LX V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 35,800 miles

The GPS starting giving wrong directions when programed. The Toyota dealer said I needed a updated map disc, they said my disc was dated 2002. I went off the handle I said my car is a 2007 and they put a 5 year old disc in a $3600 GPS system. I said the roads that are being used for directions have not changed in 50 years so I don't think the problem is an outdated disc. Then the GPS started changing from night to day and back in the middle of the day and it was on when the car was off one night. Toyato then said it had a loose power wire it still does the same stuff.

Fixed it with a Garmin GPS on the dash and I can program it while moving. $135.00 at Walmart.
