problem #2

Nov 012015

Avalon Limited 3.2L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 85,000 miles

WATER STARTED GETTING WATER ON FLOOR OF PASSENGER SIDE SUDDENLY. CAR HAS NOT BEEN IN AN ACCIDENT. REPAIR SHOPS HAVE CHECKED THE A/C OVERFLOW DRAIN AND HEATER CORE AND CONCLUDED THE PROBLEM IS NOT THERE. WATER IS CAUSING THE CARPET TO MILDEW AND SMELLS AWFUL.

problem #1

Nov 012009

Avalon Limited 3.5L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 1,000 miles

Car taken to service and they found no leak. Moisture continued to be seen and felt on inside of car esp in winter. Finally this winter ice started appearing inside and rear rugs soaked. Dealership charged 600 to diagnose and fix and another 1400 for new carpets.
