Local Toyota service dept.in Lufkin Tx. has replaced parts 6 times and still I have the same problem as I took it in for repairs for starting problems after engine gets hot. Have to pump the acc 4 or 5 times to get it to start and the exhaust puts out strong odor. The VSC and Service eng light comes on after the service dept resets it. 1st service they ran tests a fixed fuel leak and said injector need replaced for $1656 + tax. I asked why the injectors when I'm getting 32MPG avg. They checked and said no you have the 125,000 injectors and its not the problem. Drove off and VSC and service engine alarm came back on within 25 miles after it was reset. 2nd service trip they found bad gas cap and replaced it and VSC and Service light came back on after 25 miles. 3rd service trip they said the rubber hose from top of gas tank has EVAP leak, wanted $400 to drop tank and replace hoses. 4th trip they dropped gas tank and said hoses good but I had a hole in top of gas tank and it has let dirt get in the fuel system. Gas tank was repaired with JB Weld. The Service dept mgt called in for TOYOTA SERVICE REP. for the area to checked the hole and said it was done at the factory and he would pay half the cost due the car was out of warranty. 5th trip back they replaced the following: Gas tank, EVAP rubber hoses, fuel pump, fuel filter and fuel filter sock. They reset the alarms and said the problem was fixed. Picked car up from dealer after 5 days of repairs to fuel system and had to pump the acc. 5 times to get the car started and within 5 miles the VSC and Service eng alarms come on. 6th trip back I tried to talk to the dealership management and owner about the service, but could not get them to talk. I wrote the TOYOTA DEALERSHIP owner a nasty letter about his service dept.and they have refused to work on my car anymore. Would like for anyone to tell me where in the area a good service dept to take it to to have my car repaired,
