The contact owns a 2012 Toyota Avalon. The contact stated that the vehicle started on its own. The motor was extremely loud and was a distraction to the driver. When the contact would turn off the engine, it would sometimes restart on its own. The contact called bowling green Toyota (2398 scottsville rd, bowling green, ky 42104, (270) 843-4321) and was informed that a new rear shade motor was needed. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and did not assist. The failure mileage was 37,000.
