The 48,000 mile like new 2004 Avalon traded for this 2016 Avalon very likely will rate as a better vehicle. On or about 2/10/2017 the front doors on the 2016 stopped locking. Locking not achievable by either key fob or interior lock buttons. Today (2/12/2017) the A/C is blowing hot air. These last two issues will be reported on this site with their resolutions. Really sorry 2004 Avalon was traded.

A/C blowing warm air
Starting to believe this vehicle was finished on a Monday or Friday---remember these are supposedly the two worst days on which cars roll off the assembly line. I'll try keeping in mind uncovering the build date on this car. I'm curious. I advised the purchaser (family member) not to buy this vehicle when it was bought. I had to scramble to undo parts of the deal where nearly 4 thousand dollars of unneeded warranty coverage was tacked onto the purchase price. Just another lesson in the heartlessness of the retail car business.
