This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your Toyota dealer.
The CD part of the CD/Cassette/Radio system that came with the car when it was purchased from the dealer was skipping. It was replaced, and yet now the replacement was also skipping. A Toyota dealership made a second replacement. But the same problem eventually occurred on this replacement.

Starting on 2010-03-06, the CD part of this third CD/Cassette/Radio system from Toyota would not eject discs at all, nor does it play the disc that is trapped inside, and nothing has changed in the past six days. Today, 2010-03-12, the system still will not eject nor play the disc.
The disc was not dirty or damaged, nor had anyone tried to misuse the CD system.
(The radio works fine, and I rarely use the cassette portion. The reason for the latter is because once, some years ago, when an audio cassette was played, it sounded like the cassette was getting tangled. I immediately stopped the cassette, ejected it, and no longer use cassettes with the system).
