Camry LE 2.4L

Both back doors have rust streaks coming from handles. Noticed numerous cars of same make and model with same issue - ONLY on rear door handles.

Camry LE 4CC

  • Automatic transmission
  • 71,000 miles

I bought a 2004 Toyota Camry; from this dealership on 7/2/2005 the car had 32,000 miles on it. The car now has 71,900 miles on it the problem with my car is the passenger side door needs to be fix.

The problem is Rod in Door has come loose from door and needs to be resucured. The Body shop saids in order to fix the it the door must be replaced at my cost.

Even with this miles on car I feel this problem has nothing to do with the miles. But the door was put together poorly; Toyota claims that their cars go for thousands of miles without problems.

My point is that I have not had any major accidentals in the car for this problem to happen. Also, they claim that the car was certify used veh. What does that mean?

I will fight what is right all the way to the top.
