2004 Toyota Camry. Consumer writes in regards to problems with the front seat belts. The consumer stated about a year ago, the driver's seat belt started folding over itself in the slot making it difficult to pull out. After pulling hard and manipulating it to straighten it out, it wouldn't tighten up or retract. The consumer stated it used to happen occasionally, but now he has to struggle with it over 50% of the time. The passenger seat belt, has developed the same problem.

Front seat on the drivers side moves when driving (stop for traffic or start after stopping) was advised their is no problem. Also the front and rear bumpers have changed color from the original color. I have noticed numerous other blue Camry with the same discoloration of front and rear bumepers.

Crash on 8/4/07. Neither of our air bags deployed or shoulder straps on the seat belt worked. We were stopped for a vehicle making a left turn on a highway. There was a pick-up waiting in front of us. A driver failed to stop and rear-ended us. My husband's head went through the windshield. We both suffered injuries, that we are still being treated for.
