My 2005 Toyota Camry SE air condition mildew smell occurred about five years after my purchase. The smell was not significant was not immediately bothersome for a while. The smell occurs after the AC is turned off and you use just the blower air. The mildew smell is most prominent when outside humidity is high - for example when you turn on the AC or window defroster, then turn off and use outside air.
I saw a lot of people complain about this on this site and would like to know if anyone else has resolved this problem with a Toyota dealer?
