Camry LE 3.2L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 40,000 miles

My wife's 05 Camry is a good car except for her driver's side seat belt keeps getting twisted on retraction and is very difficult to get it untwisted . The rearward side of the belt folds up on its self and jams it frequently. What can the engineers do to correct this design issue? This is a safety issue.

OK, how can a dealership advertise a used car as not ever being in an accident, and then sell you a car that you drive away with your children in it and there is no passenger airbag, defective seat belts? The repair shop I took it to said the airbag cover was glued on and the wire disconnected so the system would not report a problem.....Toyota of Poway was (back in 2007 when I bought the car) owned by Sonic corporation. I have been driving the car for 5 years, not knowing it was a deathtrap.
