problem #2

Camry XLE 3.2L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 36,000 miles

The smell is terrible and the windows are fogged up on the inside every time I get into the car. The Toyota dealer wants $8,000 to demold the interior of the car and for me to authorize seven hours of labor just for them to find the problem! I cannot afford to spend this much money on a car that is almost five years old. I have read about others having a similar problem. Toyota should step up to the plate and provide me with another vehicle as I cannot afford to purchase another brand-new car.

Camry LX V4

  • Automatic transmission
  • 50,000 miles

TOYOTA IS THE BIGGEST RIP OFF COMPANY. AMERICAN COMPANIES DON'T REALIZE HOW TOYOTA KEEPS UNDER THE RADAR AND HOW THEIR RECALLS ARE NOT REPORTED. THE CAR WAS FULL OF MOLD SINCE I BOUGHT IT, THE SERVICE MANAGER AT SUNNYSIDE AGREES BUT WON'T FIX IT, HE SAID 10 HOURS IS TOO LONG. NOW, I BROUGHT MY CAMRY TO PREMIER TOYOTA IN AMHERST FOR OIL CHANGE AND THEY CAME UP WITH ALL THESE THINGS THAT ARE WRONG. MY HUSBAND CHECKED EVERYTHING OUT AND IT IS FINE. THE WATER PUMP WAS NOT LEAKING, 24 HOUR STANDING TEST, THE BRAKES WERE NOT NEEDING TO BE REPLACED, MY HUSBAND TOO THEM APART AND THEY ARE FIND, THE BATTERY WAS NOT LOW, IT WAS 100 PERCENT. PREMIER LIED.
