Have 2008 Toyota Camry xle. Dashboard is sticky and seems to be melting. Have fidelity platinum warranty, they refused to cover it. Toyota regional director offered to cover the repair at 50% which would be over $800 out of my pocket. This is a factory flaw and the amount of incidents reported online is staggering... why should I have to pay anything when others are getting it replaced free of charge. Next report is to help me [xxx] and/or attorney. Information redacted pursuant to the Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6).

A noise is coming from the sunroof that sounds like metal against metal when backing out of the drive way or going around a corner or over a bump. I have owned 3 Toyota and I have never been so frustrated as I am with owning this Toyota 2008 Camry. From the beginning the car has had problems with the brakes that cause the steering wheel to shake, the sunvisors falling, the rear wheel bearing to be replaced and now the sunroof. I'm taking time to write this because I want owners of Toyota to be aware of how poorly Toyota is handling these problem. Toyota has stalled taking action so that when the warranty runs out than is the owners responsibility to pay for the repair. Shame on Toyota. Instead of spending so much time in learning how to avoid doing the right thing they should concentrate on doing the responsible thing. Toyota you lost a loyal customer. Sincerely

Structural noise coming from L and R front sunroof area. There is a tsb about it Toyota has put out, and it is very common. Toyota thinks this should be only covered under the 3 year / 36000 mile warranty but it is a structural issue and not a sunroof issue. The welds were not done properly and it makes a creaking / knocking noise. I wonder if my vehicle is safe in a crash??

My vehicle crashed into a van, there is very heavy damage to the driver side front, I am surprised to note that no air bags were deployed, even though the left front is totaled.

Sunvisor has lost all tension and just hangs straight down interfering with visibility on driver's side. Toyota will not assume responsibility when I called and discussed it with them at their customer service center although I have read this is a fairly common problem with Camry 2008. Had to remove sunvisor.

Back in April the driver sun visor broke, we removed because I couldn't see when I was driving, and then about 1 week ago the passenger sun visor broke also. I called the 1-800-331-4331 for customer's concerns and they said there is nothing they can do. This is going to cost me about $300. This is a safety issue and Toyota should issue a recall on the visors.

Front bumper is too low to road, which causes bumper cover to come into contact with parking space tire stops, which then pops bumper cover loose from holding clips, which causes bumper cover to flap, drag, or come off when going down road. This has happened twice within 8 months.

The trunk has a defective design, upon opening the trunk with the remote and then lifting the trunk lid, the trunk lid does not fully open. This resulted in my head hitting the trunk lid a causing a cut to my head and a mild concussion. I believe that the springs in the trunk do not have enough force to open the trunk fully.

Driving on back road late at night-car suddenly veried to left hitting oncoming car-then going into ditch-could not control my car-was having problems prior-as car kept wanting to veer to right and acceletor seemed to stick from time to time-car was totaled and I suffered from injuries.I was one mile from my home when accident occured. I always felt like car had handling problems-but with toyda, S quality reputation did not think it was a manufacturing issue. I have a new toyda-still has tendancy to acciler ate from time to time unexpectedly-no accidents or close calls.
