I take my car to the dealership I bought it from, after months of trying to find where the creaking noise is coming from.I ride with the dealers tech. and tell him it happens when the car gets on uneven ground. We drive over a uneven place and immediately he says that's the sunroof, I can fix that.Later he calls me at work and tells me my extended warranty does not cover it and it will cost me 795.00 dollars to fix.I called the warranty rep. when I got home and they told me they only fix something that is broken. Squeaks, leaks, weatherstrip that sticks to the glass is my problem. They do put me in touch with toyota, who offer to pay for the part if I pay for the labor.Still I have to come up with the 795.00 dollars to get it fixed.I quote the dealership (we didn't build it, why should we pay to fix it).Well I didn't build it either. The funny thing is I never wanted the sunroof to start with.I just hated the look of the grill and the blanks in the foglight holes. So I decided on the SE model, at least it looks good.I should have bought a LE, I would have been money ahead. Then purchased the grill and foglights separately, then I could fold down the back seat and have more trunk room. Still can't figure out what the hole in the back seat is good for on the SE .The bottom line is, don't buy something you know is going to give you problems, don't put a skylight in the roof of your house or a sunroof in the roof of your car.Even though I have never opened it,it has already given me problems. If a company sells their cars in packages and there is something in the package you don't want, don't buy it.The last time I bought a good truck, I could pick out the options I wanted. It was a FORD.Put Americans back to work!
