I have a 2010 Toyota Camry. It has been to the dealer 3X since I purchased it due to a whining sound which appeared shortly after the car was purchased. I have been told each time that there was a noise but it wasn't unusual. 3 weeks ago I took the car in for an oil change and I complained of the same whining noise problem and asked them to do the "fixes" on the car for the Toyota accelerating problems. (the pedal and the rug - which I was instructed to take out in the past). When I picked up the car I was told that all Camry have the same whining noise and I don't know what was done, if anything, to the pedal but I was told to put back in the same mat which had been in my garage. I have had several Toyota in the past and am not trying to jump on the bandwagon but I am very concerned about the noise and what was done, if anything, to make sure my family is safe in the car. I have owned several Toyota in the past and have had no complaints. It only has 4,000 miles on it.
