problem #1

Mar 192011

Camry XLE 2.5L 4 cyl

  • Automatic transmission
  • 7,500 miles

Thought problem was fixed after two trips to the dealer and a new power steering return hose and clamp, but was still seeping so took to a second dealer for a second opinion. They said fluid at hose connection was residual from hose replacement, but I had wiped it clean and it still came back, so I will continue to monitor this issue. This is a minor but troubling occurrence on a camry to have a leak like this I believe from when it was built. Toyota inspectors should have caught this before this car left the SIA, Subaru of Indiana in America in Lafeyette, IN. Avoid camrys built in this plant.
