I bought this 2011 Camry brand new, I only have 48000 miles on it & have taken excellent care of it. Got all scheduled maintenance, new tires at 25000 miles. Last time I brought it in for an oil change I was told the front struts were leaking! I took it to 2 other places for second opinions both places said Oh that's unlikely at only 48K miles but sure enough they were indeed leaking. I'm a 67 yr old grandmother but I actually made them show me. I didn't get the extended warranty so I'm in the process of getting quotes. I'm being told that I should do the back shocks as well. But I may have to wait for them because so far the quotes from 4 different places are ranging from $1100 to $1570. What the heck! My daughter has a 2009 Honda Fit with 100K miles and never had to replace struts. Everyone says oh it's a good care. Well I don't think so! I've had much cheaper cars that lasted 10 plus years without ever having to replace struts. I'm worried about what else will start to fail on the "good car" I'm very disappointed in Toyota & think their quality is junk. I'd trade it in in a minute but the resale value stinks so sadly I have to sink another grand into this sub quality a car.
