A Toyota Camry which I trusted to use for so long is dead at 83K miles (practically less than 7 years service to me!!!). I never missed a service, all brought to the official Toyota Service wherever I go. I repaired my Toyota for a radiator related problem in Dec. 2018 and fixed it after spending hundreds of dollars. Now, during the date this incident happened, I saw a check engine on my dashboard while driving and I thought this could be somehow electrical trouble shooting or so. I was in tight time and wished to reach my destination before inspection, actually I also have kids with me so that I wont be able to stop. I was wondering if there was any recall to this version of the Camry. To make things worse, the Toyota Financial whom I paid a premium to cover extra stuff never helped in anything and the response I got was a sarcastic one, the decision on the overheated engine will be after all the parts are examined and if only it is proved a problem inherent to the engine - and of course it will be hours of labor cost if that is proved otherwise!! It is just an annoying experience and thought of sharing if anyone has a similar experience.
