The vehicle was taken to waldorf Toyota (301-843-3700, located at 2600 crain hwy, waldorf, md 20601) to be repaired per an unknown recall regarding the torque converter; however, the technician stated that the recall repair had already been performed. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 138,000.
