I had just purchased this car 4 to 5 weeks earlier. It was a Certified Vehicle. I noticed while on a trip that the fender was loose from the frame. Shoved it back in but it continued to pop out. I took it in to our local dealer and they said it was not covered under my extended bumper to bumper warranty. So, it cost $50 to fix a faulty clip. I am wondering when the one on the other side is going to do the same?
I like my Toyota and this is the third one I have owned. But, if this kind of inferior parts are the normal standard, I'll be looking for a different car in the future. Very disappointed in Toyota. This apparently is an easy fix and I should not have been charged since there was no damage. It just popped loose from road travel. Come on Toyota - stand behind your products. I have gone on line and seen the same complaint from many others. You are going to lose customers because of a $5 clip !!!
