The contact stated while driving 40 MPH and attempting to activate the headlights, the vehicle lost motive power with the ABS and stabili-trak warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was able to restart; however, the failure recurred. The dealer was not contacted, and the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 84,256.
