The Spare Tire Lug Nut Wrench Toyota provides has a short handle and did not provide a enough leverage for me to remove the lug nuts during an emergency flat tire repair on the side of the Freeway. The Caltrans Roadside service came to the rescue and changed the flat tire for me.
REPAIRMAN USED A DIFFERENT LUG NUT TOOL THAT GAVE HIM ENOUGH LEVERAGE TO REMOVE THE TIRE RIM NUTS TO CHANGE THE TIRE !
I phoned Toyota about the problem and gave them 2 weeks or I would file a complaint with NHTSA, to send me a replacement wrench or handle extension. They did not get back to me, so I filed NHTSA Complaint on 10/7/19, and am waiting for reply.
