My car is 46K and already have a suspension problem that was brought to my attention when my car started vibrating while driving on the highway. The tires are feathering in the middle which I was told was caused by a bad suspension. I've been going to the Toyota dealer to do my 5K maintenance and no one single person has ever mentioned this problem to me until now that is super late and very dangerous. I'm always traveling and doing road trips from ks to fl and from NY to fl and from Canada to NY and so on and this could have caused an accident. This must be happening for a while now since the tires were just replaced at 19K

Passenger front lower ball joint missing two retaining nuts when delivered by selling dealership (bev smith Toyota, ft pierce, fl). As noted on inspection by tarbox Toyota, North kingstown, ri after car driven from fl to ri. Phone call to delivering dealer in fl. Service manager stated that dealer did not perform a pre delivery inspection as it was done by the distributor, southeast Toyota.. said I would be contacted. Nothing heard to date. Believe this could have easily lead to a loss of control or worse if a pothole was struck at highway speed.

While traveling over a speed bump, driveway entry, or railroad crossing, a loud mechanical clunking sound occasionally comes from the car. The clunking sound is definitely from the front, and appears to be from the right front suspension. The sound occurs when the car comes down to its lowest point of suspension travel. This clunking sound occurs most frequently over speed bumps, and occasionally at driveway entries, and railroad crossings. The clunking sound has occurred with the brakes on and off. The sound has most frequently occurred at slow speeds and occasionally occurred at normal street speeds. The clunking sound has occurred while the steering wheel is turned and while it is straight. The car is one year old, and the first incident occurred between 8K-9K miles. The car has not been in any accident, or any condition that would damage the suspension, and the suspension has not been serviced. The car has not been inspected for the issue yet. The car will be inspected at the next scheduled service of 15K miles. The issue has not yet been reported to the dealer because the issue is intermittent. The issue cannot be exactly replicated during a text drive, but it happens randomly and often enough to be a nuisance.
