I've had 2 2018 Camry XSE's this year as the 1st one was totaled by a 85 year old trying to play frogger across a 6 lane highway and thought she could make it in one shot if she stomped on the gas. My wife had just picked mine up from the dealer because of rear package tray rattle. Her insurance bought me a new Camry just like the one I had. The 1st one had a production date of 12/17. My new one is 8/18. When I picked my new Camry up I was driving home and noticed in the rearview mirror the center headrest of the rear seat was leaning downhill towards the driver side. My 1st Camry wasn't like this. That headrest was perfectly straight across.
I took it back to the dealer and they are trying to tell me they are SUPPOSE TO BE LIKE THAT!!! That's pure BS! They compared it to other new Camry's on the lot and most all of them were like this too. Quite funny - my 1st Camry was straight and other owners I have spoken with that have an early production date, all of theirs are straight too. Toyota DOES NOT CARE about quality of the Camry anymore. My wife and I toured the Camry plant in Georgetown KY back in June and to watch the so called quality control inspection was a pure joke. They sit in a line and a couple people walk past them and just look at them.
