Toyota Customer Experience Center responded to my complaint of soy-based insulation damage repairs citing a clause in the warranty that excludes "damages or failures due to outside influences such as rodent or pest damage". I could not find this clause in our sales and warranty documents.
The dealership confirmed that this clause is not included in our contract but is part of an annual publication "warrant pocket handbook" which is an internal document not given to consumers. So the national Toyota operation is misrepresenting its contract with the buyer.
