The recent recall on the 2020-2023 Toyota Highlander-??s for the front fender/bumper clips is the same issue I am currently having with my 2021 Toyota Camry. There is potential risk of the bumper or fender falling off in traffic causing a traffic hazard. The vehicle is available for inspection upon request. I took my vehicle in a few months ago for a different issue(major railroad rust) and had the manager look at the clip issue to see if it would be fixed at the same time, he informed me that is a common issue they see however would need to be scheduled at the body shop and I would pay out of pocket for it. No the component has not been inspected by anyone else other than the manager at the Toyota dealership I purchased the car from.

A portion of the car's hood closest to the windshield is angled downward, which reflects the sun into the driver's eyes. When driving south mid-day, the sun hits this part of the hood and the driver gets a blinding reflection. It's not just when facing the sun directly. When driving toward the sun, as the road bends about 20 degrees one way or the other from head-on the sun's reflection remains, simply moving to another spot on the hood's angled portion.
