Camry XLE

  • CVT transmission
  • 6,000 miles

With my 2025 Camry XLE there is an issue with the driver’s seat when slowing or normal breaking there is a thump on my back that comes around the upper middle of the seat. The seats are ventilated and heated. It is the kind of thing that once you notice it it’s hard to ignore. Sometimes the thump can be hard. I’ve been to the dealer however, they have not been able to reproduce the problem. It appears others have mentioned to my dealer’s mechanic something similar with the Highlander (no solution). I complained to the to Toyota directly and they said they don’t have anything on record about this issue so no help there. I’m thinking it may be related to the ventilation fan. I have gotten my hand up inside the seat but can’t feel anything obvious.

Update from Jun 30, 2025: If you're having this problem check out this post. MANY 2025 camry owners are experiencing the same problem.
