Camry Hybrid xl 2.4L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 60,000 miles

I took it to Roseville Toyota and they said nothing was wrong. I also mentioned that I read there were many complaints about the brakes on these cars and they just blew me off... And right after I had brakes done my rotors warped again, for some unknown reason and I have to go get new ones AGAIN!! My hunch is that it's something to do with that ABS Actuator problem...

Update from Apr 30, 2017: At almost 80K my brakes are still vibrating a little when applied. Had new Rotors put in about a year ago when actuator was REALLY acting up. I notice alot of other underlying problems that I see many other people on here complaining about!! And The DEALERS Dont seem to want to seriously fix ANYTHING! Even when the GOVERNMENT TELLS THEM TO!!! I Think its Time to Trade in the Ole Camry...I DO really like the darn car tho.

Camry Hybrid xl 2.4L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 40,000 miles

I love my Hybrid Camry! But the brakes have NEVER been correct. At high speeds they vibrate horribly and car seems out of control when it does this. I'm going to go back and change EVERYTHING one more time and see what happens. BUT I do feel that this defect is VERY dangerous and would have caused a serious incident had I not been a seasoned driver.

Update from Dec 9, 2014: Took car into dealer, since i saw so many brake complaints...And they basically blew me off and said it was probably my rotors. BS.
