While driving on roads/highways, at any speed, the driver's side (L) blind spot monitor intermittently fails to function properly, often falsely indicating other vehicles in the blind spot, while in reality, no other vehicles are present, or by not signaling while other vehicles are present. Recently, while driving on an interstate highway, the monitor illuminated (signaling a vehicle in the blind spot) and stayed lit for over 20 miles before going out. The problem occurs randomly, regardless of weather, time of day, speed, and presence or absence of metallic objects around my vehicle.

While braking at very low speeds, the brakes on the car 'lock up' at the slightest application of pressure on the brake pedal. This makes it impossible to maneuver in tight spaces (like garage or parking space) without neck-jerking sudden stop and go driving. The problem occurs intermittently, and most often after car has been parked for several hours. The problem has occurred in warm, humid Florida, cold, wintry Missouri, and on virtually every type of road surface and every type of weather.
