multiple error messages, then died multiple error messages, then died multiple error messages, then died

Had driven the car just the evening before. Hopped in after 4 pm to drive to the store. Immediately received multiple error messages and I couldn't even move out of the driveway. While waiting for tow to the dealer, car went completely dead and had to use manual key to open doors and trunk to get my stuff out.

Got a call this morning from the dealer who claims they couldn't find the issue at first, but said it was a bad battery. I hope this isn't the beginning of reoccurring "battery" issues...
