Took car in and had ignition problem cared for. 2 weeks later on the toll way after being out all day caring for my Mom. Came through toll and car stopped dead. Everything went off couldn't start. Sat there until a guy stopped to help me. He put the hood up and I decided before getting out and leaving my car to try to start it again. It started, I then got home of course freaked out, I called the guy who had worked on my car. He was gone for the day, so I left a message asking if I could bring my car in for him to look at the next day. I have never had this happen to me with any of the Toyota's that I have had. By the way this was the 7th of Sept when I had the original work done. This happened about a week or 2 later. So I was able to bring it in, and he kept my car for 2 days. Gave me a rental and he drove it and he said he check everything couldn't find anything. He said they did road test 12 miles and ran car for 5 hrs and checked for a stall. It didn't happen. This was on Sept. 18th.

OK a 2nd time my car stalled Oct 18th about month later on expressway by toll booth again. Called and talked to guy when I got home and explained it happened again. He told me it was nothing he could do because he had already looked at everything and called an associate also for help. So I said so i just keep driving it and hope that I don't stall and get killed and he said pretty much. He could not afford to use another mechanic to spent time on my car again because he would have to pay him. So, so much for what my life matters. Now I'm not trying to blame him, but what can I do because I have children with me most of the time and I can't afford to be in an unsafe car. Please see if there is anything I can do or should do. I love Toyota and they are the best and I am not ready to sell my car. Now a days the customer doesn't seem to matter it's always about a dollar. If I had to solve it I would, but it was not happening before I had the ignition done.
