problem #2

Celica GT-S 1.8L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 99,419 miles

We have had lots of fun with our Celica, but lately its been having some illness.

Not only some..

The transmission is out of control. In the middle of an acceleration or even just when driving evenly, the gear can shift gears up and down..

Sometimes the reverse wont even work!

We have had down the bottom of the transmission, measured the valves, they were okay. But its an period error and there for the mechanics said that we had to change the brain.. This hasnt worked out at all, and next I guess we are just forced to try changing the valves..

Has anybody else had this problem??

Another problem with toyota. The gear box makes noises and, noises piss me off. They fixed it but put the same transmission in, just new and I will probably come acrossed it in the future again.
